Stitch & Sew — Youth

8-Week Beginner Sewing Class · Ages 7–18

Peoria Fashion Week Academy's Youth Stitch & Sew Class is a beginner-friendly sewing and fashion design program created to introduce young creatives to sewing, design, and hands-on garment construction. Students will learn sewing machine basics, hand stitching, fabric handling, measuring, cutting, beginner fashion design, and how to complete creative sewing projects in a supportive and creative environment. In collaboration with 4-H Grows Here. Cost includes 4-H membership and all supplies. Projects include: Pillowcase, Drawstring Bag, Zipper Pouch, Tote Bag, Scrunchie, and more. Spaces are limited.
